Antonio Lassiter

Antonio “Tony” Lassiter of Providence passed away at 59 years old on Monday, February 1st at home.

He was the son of the late James Lassiter and Diane Dean. In addition to his mother and step-father Frank Dean, he is survived by six brothers, James Lassiter Jr., Donald Lassiter, Franklin Dean, Antron Dean, Eric Dean, and Nathaniel Dean, one sister, Rhonda Dean, eight children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, step-brothers/sister, and an abundance of family and friends.

He retired from the Providence School department in 2010 where he was employed for 15 years. Although, Tony has departed from the earth he will be forever in the memory of family.

His funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, February 10th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; Viewing begins at 10am. Interment will be at Saint Ann’s Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston.
