Edwin Wayne Stone, 54, of Willow Street, Woonsocket, died Tuesday December 12th, in his home. Edwin, affectionately known as "Booboo", was born in Providence, RI on November 30, 1963, the youngest son of the late Mr. Lincoln Stone and Mrs. Virginia (Jones) Stone.

Edwin received his education in the Providence Public School System and also graduated from the Culinary Arts Program at the Amos House.

Booboo had been a cook for several restaurants including Newport Creamery and the Amos House.

He had been a member of the Holy Temple Christian Center under the leadership of John P. Graham.

Booboo was an avid fisherman who could spend hours fishing and went whenever he had free time. In addition, he enjoyed ‘scrapping’ and would take what some people had considered trash and turn it into treasure.

Booboo is survived by his brother, Gerald J Stone of Providence, sisters, Debra Lynn Silva, Valerie J Robinson and Cheryl Ann Smith, all of Providence, uncles, Franklin Jones (Ruby) of Deerfield, FL, and Roosevelt McCrae of New Haven, CT, aunt, Loraine White of Brooklyn NY, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as extended family who are deeply saddened at the loss of Booboo but celebrate the life that he shared with them.

In addition to his parents, Booboo is preceded in death by his oldest brother, Ronald Bernard Stone, his youngest sister, Sherrie Lee Stone, and nieces, Micheala Stone and Jordane Stone.

Booboo will be greatly missed and his loss will leave a void, but his family has gratitude for the son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend that he was.
