“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7)

On Monday afternoon, November 14, 2016, Chaplain Captain Elizabeth Grace Turnipseed Buckner went to her eternal home.

Elizabeth was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 17, 1972 to James Turnipseed and the late Patricia McDaniels. She united in holy matrimony with Edward Buckner on December 24, 1997.

Elizabeth began her education in the Louisville, Mississippi School System and graduated from Drew High School in Drew, Mississippi.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi, a master’s degree from Delta State University and a Master of Divinity from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee where she was awarded the F.
