Elizabeth Rose (Brown) Carter

Elizabeth “Punkie” Carter, 73, of 360 Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket, died Tuesday, December 26th, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Ozelle (Washington) Brown.

She dedicated her life to the care of children. She worked at The Smith Hill Day Care until her retirement.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Robin Brown of Virginia Beach, VA, son, Joseph Brown of Norfolk, VA, sisters, Mary Catherine Brown of Providence, and Edith Brown of Orlando, FL, grandchildren, Aaron, Delisha (Latrell) Amir & Khalil, and great, grandchild Latrell.  She was the sister of the late John Brown Jr. and Marcellous Brown.
