Emma Jean (Dunston) Etienne

Emma Jean (Dunston) Etienne, 73 of Providence, transitioned to eternal life on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She now safely rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmuracle Alcius Etienne, her daughter Angela Marie Alston, her bothers Kenny Dunston, Course Dunston, Theron Dunston and Leroy Dunston; her sisters Bruce Lewis and Betty Dunston and her first husband James Alston, Sr. 

Born in Franklin County, North Carolina, she is the daughter of the late Ullis Dunston and Lue Jean (Conyers) Dunston of Franklin County, North Carolina. 

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her bother Raymond Dunston from NC, her son, James Alston, Jr. of Johnston, her daughter Martis Alston of Providence, her five step-daughters, Miracline Etienne, Amitha Joseph, Medeline Etienne, Anatacha Saintylus and Clinadeline Adolphe; her four step-sons, Miracson Etienne, Esperance Etienne, Julien Etienne and Smith Etienne; her grandchildren, Andre Alston, Khivory Alston, Da-Neesha Alston, Chicara Alston and Jamari Alston; her great grandchildren, Jaylissa Perdomo, Madison Watson, Mason Watson, Khi-lasia Alston and Asani Alston, all of Providence, as well as a host of many relatives and close friends.
