Felicia Joyce Lawrence

Ms. Felicia Joyce Lawrence , a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt mother and friend, was called home  to eternal life on Sunday, September 17th.  Felicia was born to Arthur W. Lawrence and Ruby (Hodge) Lawrence on August 13, 1960 in Providence.

 Felicia is survived by sisters Doris Allen of SC, Marjorie Goode of CA, and Debora Nealy and Donna Lawrence Barnes, both of Providence. Her children Joanny Lawrence, Rashard Lawrence, Sweetie Lawrence, William Lawrence of Providence, Stephen Hackett of Newport and Lishell Monroe of Providence. Grandchildren Kimani, Kenyon, Dekarii, Desire, Kamouryon and Cedric Lawrence all of Providence and a host of nieces and nephews.

Felicia was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Robert and Charles Lawrence, and her sister, Delilah Lawrence along with her grandson, Timmy Lawrence.

Felicia was a lifelong resident of the Southside Providence. She loved the Southside Boys & Girls Club.  Her hobbies were needlepoint sewing and she was a very inspired baker, famous for her lemon pound cakes. She also was faithful facebook Queen. Felicia loved her family and most of all  her children and grandchildren, she lived life as she would say keeping it real.
