Isabelle (Jules) Wagnac

Isabelle (Manman Tiolo) Wagnac, 93, died on Friday, August 4th, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Saint-Jean Du Sud in Haiti on April 26, 1924 to her parents, Milias Jules and Julia Thys Jules, she was the 5th of 8 children: Elias Jules, Oulio Jules, Onias Jules, Enelio Jules, Lola (Jules) René, Wilfrid Jules and Jonas Jules. She was predeceased by all her parents and siblings, except Jonas Jules.

She married the love of her life, the late Philogène Wagnac (Papa Tiolo), in 1948 and moved to Ka Bislin, where she would give birth to her 5 children: Germaine Wagnac (deceased), Antoine T. Wagnac, Dafnie Wagnac, Mimose Wagnac (deceased) and Joseph Joiny Wagnac. Throughout her life, she worked as a school teacher, baker and a craftswoman. She was known for her integrity, great generosity, respect for others, compassion towards those in need and her great love for Christ. 

Isabelle Wagnac emigrated to the United States of America in 2001 and resided in Providence. She became a faithful member of Elmwood Avenue Church of God and was an active member in the Senior's Ministry. Everyone knew Manman Tiolo as one full of life, always cheerful and dancing to the sound of music. She brought much laughter and joy to those around her. She enjoyed her membership at PACE where she connected with her peers. A host of friends will feel the void left by her absence. 

She will be greatly missed by her children: Antoine T. Wagnac and wife Marie A. Wagnac, Marie Dafnie Wagnac Vilsent and her husband Jacques Seymour Vilsent, and Joseph Joiny Wagnac and his wife Rose Ismaelite Wagnac; her 13 grand-children, her 17 great-grandchildren, her brother (Jonas and his wife), and her numerous nephews and nieces.
