James Walter Garlington Jr.

James Walter Garlington Jr, former of Providence, died Friday, November 25th, in Florence, SC.

Born in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late James Walter Garlington and Ella Louise (Harris) Garlington.

"JR", as he was affectionately known, was always the life of the party, he loved to cook and dance, very thoughtful and unconditionally kind. There was nothing he wouldn't do to help someone out in a time of need. He loved his parents and his family with the upmost love and affection. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by daughters, Rebecca Louise Morris of Fall River, MA, and Courtney Rhouse of Norfolk, VA, brother, Michael Garlington of Providence, sisters, Marilyn Garlington, Patricia Threats, Sharon Garlington, Gail Garlington, and Michele Garlington, all of Providence, and Ella Nash of Chesapeake, VA, and grandson, Zion Morris Rodrigues of Fall River, MA.
