Lillie Mae Andrews

Lillie Mae Andrews, a loving mother and grandmother, of Providence, died Saturday, March 4th, at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Eufaula, AL, she was the daughter of Annie Malone of Providence.

Besides her mother, she is survived by sons, Dennis Andrews, Gregory Andrews, and Robert "Bobby" Whitford, and daughters, Donna Andrews and Anna Thomas.  She was the mother of the late David Andrews.

Lillie was a strong Southern woman that rarely shed a tear.  Smart and funny.  She loved to dance.  She was giving, never expecting to receive.  Genuine, pure-hearted person.  She believed in God.  She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. And she will be missed.
