Mary Louise Threats

Mary Louise "Tat" Threats, 74, died suddenly at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 6th.

Mary was born in Lumpkin, Georgia , but was a longtime resident of Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Annie Mae (Smith) Threats .

Prior to retiring she worked at Saint Elizabeth Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Mary enjoyed her tenure at Saint Elizabeth's, she loved taking care of her patients there. She treated her patients with respect, dignity and self-worth. Mary was the most compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant one would ever encounter. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren, great grandchildren,eating her chocolate candy, and scratching her lottery tickets. When you came to visit the first thing she would say is "You got candy" . Mary was always a giving kind-hearted person never asking for anything in return, it was not in her character to do so.

Mary leaves to cherish her beloved children Salonia Threats of Pawtucket, Teresa Threats, Harold Threats, and Priscilla Pizarro, all of Providence, her loving sisters, Carrie Mae Redding of Providence and Mae Frances Allen of Pawtucket, brother, Jessie James Threats (Frances) of Gastonia, NC, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters in-law, numerous relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Threats, Eddie Threats, Thomas Threats, Reuben Threats and sisters Corrine Latimer and Bertha Marshall.

Mary will be deeply missed by all.
