Milton Taylor, 59, of Providence, RI passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Center .
Born in Warrenton, NC on October 5, 1958, he was a son of the late Sidney and Nancy (Bell) Taylor. Milton attended school at John R Hawkins High in Warrenton, NC. From here he joined the United States Army. His army deployment was in Germany where he was awarded The Marksman Badge with M-16 Rifle Bar. His three years served in the Army afforded him the opportunity and privilege to see the world. One of his duties in the army was that of a Food Specialist.
His primary work was a painter. He has also worked as a custodian, handy-man, and various odd jobs. He loved tinkering with electrical devices. He was affectionately known to his friends as "Z-Doc," “MacGyver” and "Reverend" Taylor.
He was the brother of the late Dorothy Mamie Taylor and Elvira Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memories a niece, Latoya Taylor of Henderson, NC, 2 nephews, Daryl Taylor of Goldsboro, NC and Vernon Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia, The Alexander Family of Warrenton, NC and especially his family in Providence, Nettie Alexander, Willie Alexander, and Johnnie Skipwith.
Milton will be missed by all of those for whom he rendered his services.
