Mamie Louise (Whetstone) Albright, 87, of Bucklin Street, Providence, died Tuesday, December 29th, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the widow of Rev. Dan Albright Jr.

Born in Prattsville, AL, she was the daughter of the late John B. Whetstone and Lula (Thomas) Whetstone. She was a resident of the city for 67 years.

Mrs. Albright was a member of Mount Zion Church of God where she served as the church mother and worked in the mission's department. She was also a licensed minister.

She is survived by brother, Frank Whetstone, and sister, Evangelist Lizzie Cook, both of Providence. She was the sister of the late Rev. John Whetstone.

Funeral 11am Tuesday, January 5th, at Mount Zion Church of God, 375 Cahill Street, Providence; viewing will begin at 10am. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
