Martha "Cookie" Ann Anacin, 54, of Waverly Street, Providence, died Wednesday, July 2nd, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Shelby, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Clyde Anacin and the late Martha Ann (Frazier) Vanover. Cookie had been employed as a computer engineer for 20 years at Aetna Insurance Computer. She is survived by one brother, Lonnie Vanover III of Providence, and two sisters, Johnie Mae Gomes of Cumberland and Peggy Dullard of Shelby, NC, one nephew, Jonathan Vanover, one niece, Martha Gomes, and one great-niece, Angelina Fusco-Vanover. Funeral Service 11am Monday, July 7th, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 475 Cranston Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be 1:30pm Thursday, July 10th, at Oakland Cemetery, 1569 Broad Street, Cranston. Click To View Condolence Messages
