Josephine (Keels) Anderson, 80, Church Mother and Treasurer at Holy Temple Church of God In Christ, died Monday, October 25 th , at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the widow of the late Van Anderson. Born in Greeleyville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Peter Keels and Ellie (Williams) Keels. She was a resident of the city for 50 years. Mother Anderson is survived by sons, Stanley Anderson and Levan Anderson, both of Providence, and Jimmy Lee Keels of Greeleyville, SC, daughters, Althea Marrow and Dorothy Keels, both of Providence, and Allison M. Anderson of Philadelphia, PA, brother, Preston Keels of Manning, SC, sister, Ophelia Mizell of Brooklyn, NY, and 7 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Marilyn Anderson, and sister of the late Samuel Keels, David Keels, Peter Keels, Henry Keels, Nathan Keels, Robert Keels, Francis Phillips, Rhina Keels and Corina Keels. Funeral 10am Saturday, October 30 th , at Holy Temple Church of God In Christ, 68 Althea Street, Providence; Viewing begins at 9am, also in church.
