Versie "Hutch" Mae Baker, 91, of Searle Street, Providence, died Saturday, July 31 st , at home.

Born in Zebulon, NC, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Sarah Baker.

She was a member of the United Holiness Church in Zebulon, NC, under the pastorship of Bishop Jessie Jones. She moved to Providence in 2002.

Versie is survived by daughter, Annette Towns, 12 grandchildren, 35 great, grandchildren, 61 great, great, grandchildren and 1 great, great, great, grandchild . She was the sister of the late Oris Carpenter, Caesar Carpenter, Keever Baker, Roxanna Carpenter, Blanche Jackson, Doris Gant, Odell Horton, and Betsey Margaret Baker.

Funeral 11am Monday, August 9 th , at Refuge Deliverance Tabernacle, 364 Prairie Avenue, Providence; Viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, 1569 Broad Street, Cranston.
