Isaiah Brooks Jr., 82, a retired welder, of 50 Randall Street, died Thursday, July 17th, at Charlesgate Nursing Home. Born in Atlanta, GA, a son of the late Isaiah Brooks Jr. and Rebecca (Bank) Brooks. He was a resident of the city for 54 years. He is survived by sons, Harvey Brooks of Los Angeles, CA, Larry Brooks of Providence, and Marshall Brooks of Elmira, NY, daughters, Linda Brooks and Christine Brooks, both of Boston, MA, and Barbara Brooks of Providence, brother, Harvey Brooks of Providence, sisters, Bessie M. Brooks of Providence, Doris Artis, Mildred Brooks, and Annie Pearl Benton, all of GA, 16 grandchildren and 6 great, grandchildren. He was the father of the late Carolyn Brooks. Funeral 8am Tuesday, July 22nd, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Burial will be in North Burial Ground. Click To View Condolence Messages
