George A. "Kayo" Brown, 75, of Dexter Manor, died Friday, July 18th, with his family at his side. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Laurence E. Brown Sr. and Goldie (Williams) Brown. He leaves his longtime companion, Dawn Addison, one brother, Laurence E. Brown Jr., twelve children, Georgia Moten, Gordon and Jason Smith, George, Lynette and Tyrone Lindsey, Stephen, Sterling, and Shea Washington, Tarina and George Botelho and Sandra Johnson. He leaves 48 grandchildren and 12 great, grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Anna and Virginia Brown and Theresa Johnson. He was also the father of the late Geneva Moten. A Memorial Service will be held at Beacon Avenue Church of God, 103 Beacon Avenue, Providence, on Saturday, July 26th at 11am.
