Celestine Regina Carswell, 67, of 128 Oak Street, Providence, died Saturday, July 24 th , at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Carswell and Othessa (Wooten) Carswell. Regina, as she was known to most, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Jewish Home for 25 years until retirement. She is survived by brothers, Bishop Quincy Carswell of Atlanta, GA and Elder John Carswell of Bridgeport, CT, and sisters, Sandra Carswell and Quintina Carswell-Robinson, both of Providence. Funeral 10am Saturday, July 31 st , at Beacon Avenue Church of God, 103 Beacon Avenue, Providence; Viewing begins at 9am.
