Angel (Morris) Cunningham, 51, of 5 Thomas Spann Way, Providence, died Sunday, June 1st, at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the spouse of Marion T. Cunningham Sr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the Robert M. Morris Sr. and Katherine (Godfrey) Morris. She was a lifelong resident of the city. Angel was a retired CNA having been employed at the State of Rhode Island, Institute of Mental Health. Besides her husband, Angel is survived by son, Marion T. Cunningham Jr. of Providence, daughter, Angel Cunningham of Providence, brothers, Robert Morris Jr., Juan Morris and Wayne Morris, all of Providence, and Corey Morris and Mark Morris, both of North Kingston, and 3 grandchildren. Funeral 6PM Friday, June 6th, at Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 5PM. Cremation will follow.
