Carol Davis On September 16, 2009 went to be with the Lord. Carol was born April 13, 1969 in Jacksonville, NC. Carol was the daughter Robert and Linda Hyman of Providence RI. Carol was the mother of the late Brian W Davis. She is also survived by a sister Cheryl Reddrick of Henderson NC, and sister Pamela Davis of Providence RI, and two brothers Nathaniel Hyman of Providence RI and the late John T. Hyman. Her paternal grandparents Hattie Mae Dorsey and the late Leroy Dorsey of Jacksonville NC. Maternal grandmother the late Lucille Davis of Providence RI. Carol also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and other special family members.

Carol was employed at Osram Sylvania in Pawtucket RI until she became too ill to work. Carol was a mother; daughter, sister, and friend and she touched a lot of people with her kindness. Carol was a light here in this world that left us too soon. Carol cared, shared, loved, laughed and cried. A testament to what God called us to do for one another.

We are sad that we won't have her with us physically but assured we will be together again. I know she is going to be cooking all our favorites, braiding hair, and telling everyone what's going on she won't let us down. Carol was a strong woman and she kept right on until our Lord called her home. Carol has inspired us to live the best life we can and champion us to the finish line one at a time because she is up in heaven with the Angels and the Saints. Carol has taken her rightful place as an Angel and a Saint. She will be watching over us all.

Funeral 6pm Monday, September 21st, in Bright Funeral Home , 290 Public Street, Providence. Cremation will follow.
