Leonard Davis, 81, of 121 Moore Street, Providence, died Monday, May 12th, at home. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Isabelle (Pickney) Davis. He was a resident of the city for 45 years. Leonard was a retired caterer and supervisor of the Sears Automotive Center. He also was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He is survived by daughter, Ruth Yvonne Davis of Providence, sisters, Isabelle Sutton of Philadelphia, PA and Miriam Brown of Providence, 5 grandchildren & 15 great, grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday, May 20th, at 10am in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 9am.
