Dear Daryl,
Today is Wednesday June 10th. Today is also the day I found out you have left your place in this world. I have been looking for you since we last saw each other 10 years or so ago. You were my best friend for 4 years of high school. There was no other like you or since you. You were my friend, confidant, and great protector. I have such great memories of us with Dave and the whole city of Providence at our feet.
I'm so sorry for your sudden and unexpected loss and hope your family is coping and still feeling your love and support. You truly loved your family and your friends with your whole heart, even when you were too macho to show it or admit it.
I know I told you how much I loved you and appreciated you when we were young, I hope you remembered when we lost touch.
