Bernice M. (Hardy) Dorsey, 93, of Locust Street, Providence, died Thursday, November 25 th , at Evergreen House Health Center. She was the wife of the late James W. Dorsey. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Hardy and Mildred (Augustus) Hardy. She was a lifelong resident of the city. Bernice is survived by daughters, Denise Dorsey and Valerie Dorsey, both of Providence, and Michelle Dorsey of Pawtucket, 9 grandchildren, 16 great, grandchildren and 2 great, great, grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Judi Dorsey-George and sister of the late Kenneth Hardy, Frances “Pete” Hardy, Gwendolyn Hardy, Geraldine Moore and Adele Evora. Funeral 11am Wednesday, December 1 st , at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 475 Cranston Street, Providence; Viewing begins at 10am in church.
