Alice Virginia (Pina) Duarte, 76, of 100 Randall Street, Providence, died Friday, August 27 th , at Charlesgate Nursing Center. She was the loving wife of the late James Bartholomew Duarte Sr. for 54 years. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Jack Pina and Beatrice (Gonsalves) Pina. She is survived by sons, James Bartholomew Duarte Jr., Joseph J. Duarte and John J. Duarte, all of Providence, daughter, Beatrice Alice Duarte of Providence, brothers, John Chavier of Fair haven, MA, Joseph Barros of Punta Gorda, FL, and Domingo Gonsalves of Pawtucket, sisters, Mildred Viera of New London, CT, and Evelyn Gonsalves of Pawtucket. Grandchildren, Latoia Wilson, Paul Duarte, Diondra Duarte, Tiffany Duarte, James Duarte, John Duarte, Almerinda Rickett, Genece Perkins, John Rivera and Johneah Duarte, and great, grandchildren, Branisha Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Da'shia Brown and Destiny Brown. She was the sister of the late Caesar Pina, David Pina, Benjamin Pina, Irene Tiodor and Viola Gonsalves and grandmother of the late Michelle Duarte. Funeral 11am Saturday, September 4 th , at Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling Hours 7-9pm Friday
