Francisco Dionisio Franco, 72, of Elmwood Avenue, died Friday, November 28th, at Elmwood Health Center. He was the husband of Maria E. (Abreu) Franco. Born in Dominican Republic, the son of the late Alquimides Franco and Ramona (Jerez) Franco. He had been a resident of the city for 28 years. He was employed at K&M Jewelry until retirement. Besides his wife, Francisco is survived by sons, Francisco Julian Franco of Providence and Julian Francisco Franco of Puerto Rico, daughters, Ramona Franco of New York, NY, Pura Franco, Ana Franco and Wendy Franco, all of Providence, sister, Maria Ramirez of Providence, and 7 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 9am Tuesday, December 2nd, at Saint Michael's Church, 239 Oxford Street, Providence. Burial will be at Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
