Michael Hamilton Jr., 71, a retired butcher, of 700 Westminster Street, Providence, died Tuesday, August 5th, at home. He was the husband of Olivia (Weaver) Hamilton. Born in Savannah, GA, a son of the late Michael Hamilton Sr. and Rose (Johnson) Hamilton of Bronx, NY. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Hamilton of Philadelphia, PA and Darin Hamilton of Brooklyn, NY, two daughters, Cynthia Fall of Jamaica, NY and Deborah Stevenson of OH, one brother, Joseph Hamilton of Bronx, NY, two sisters, Lois Crymes of Summerville, SC and Madeleine Francis of Bronx, NY, one uncle, David Frisby of Queens, NY, 9 grandchildren and 6 great, grandchildren. He was the father of the late Mary Ann Payne. Funeral 4pm Monday, August 11th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; cremation will follow.
