Bernice (Degree) Haynes, 85, of 100 Broad Street, Providence, died Saturday, July 12th, at Kindred Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation, East Providence. She was the widow of Park Haynes. Born in Shelby, North Carolina, Bernice had been a resident of the city for 62 years. She was a member of Mount Zion Church of God. She is survived by daughter, Winnie Isom of Cranston, 14 grandchildren and many great & great, great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Berrinias Haynes, Michael Haynes, Virginia (Carter) Bess and Maybell Ramsey. Funeral 11am Wednesday, July 16th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Cremation will follow. Click To View Condolence Messages
