Florence E. Hicks, 81, a retired jewelry worker, of 35 Golf Avenue, Pawtucket, died Thursday, January 22nd, at home. Born in Cleveland, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Ed Hicks and Florence (Blanton) Hicks. Florence is survived by son, Steven Hicks of Roslindale, Massachusetts, sisters, Mabel F. Hunt and Luna Morris, both of Shelby, North Carolina, 8 grandchildren and 8 great, grandchildren. Funeral 11am Friday, January 30th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; visitation begins at 10am. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, 1569 Broad Street, Cranston.
