Jake Johnson, 57, of Academy Avenue, Providence, died Wednesday, February 16th, at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Vivian Robinson.

Born in Key West, FL, he was the son of the late James Johnson and Emma (Lewis) Johnson. He was a resident of the city for 15 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Adrian Johnson and Dimetris Johnson, step-sons, Charles Robinson, Edward Robinson and Alex Robinson, daughter, Ezelle Johnson, brothers, Andrew Johnson, Edward Johnson, J.R. Johnson, R.J. Johnson, and Eddy Johnson, sister, Rachael Johnson, and 15 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Mazelle Johnson.

Funeral 7pm Monday, February 22nd, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 6pm. Cremation will follow.
