Sidney Michael Jones Sr., 47, of Washington Avenue, Providence, died Saturday, July 19th, at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.

Born in Providence, a son of Sidney Barrett of FL and the late Isabella (Jones) LaFrance.

Besides his father, he is survived by son, Sidney Jones Jr. of Johnston, daughter, Deja Beverly Jones of Johnston, step-father, Douglas LaFrance Sr. of Pawtucket, brothers, Douglas LaFrance Jr. of Otisville, NY and Andre Wilson of Philadelphia, PA, sisters, Zonia LaFrance of Hollywood, FL, Eulanda LaFrance of Pawtucket, Crystal Cooper, Leattea Barrett, Karrin Barrett, Kim Barrett, Sharleen Barrett and Evelyn LaFrance, all of Providence, and Shetana Wilson-Fields of Philadelphia, PA.

Funeral 11am Saturday, July 26th, at Congdon Street Baptist Church, 17 Congdon Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Cremation will follow.
