Douglas Joseph LaFrance Sr., 69, of School Street, Pawtucket, died Tuesday, February 2nd, at Our Lady Of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Denise Green.

Born in New Orleans, LA, he was the son of the late Herbert LaFrance Sr. and Evelyn (George) LaFrance.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son, Douglas LaFrance Jr. of Otisville, NY, daughters, Eulanda LaFrance of Pawtucket, Evelyn LaFrance and Zonia LaFrance, both of Providence, and Kina LaFrance of New Orleans, LA, brothers, George LaFrance, Raymond LaFrance and Wallace LaFrance, all of New Orleans, LA, 14 grandchildren and 1 great, grandchild. He was the father of the late Richard Allan Gibson and Sylvia Gibson and brother of the late Herbert LaFrance Jr., Earl LaFrance, Lester LaFrance, Alvin LaFrance, August LaFrance, Dorothy LaFrance, Doris Ann LaFrance, Mildred LaFrance and Rosemary LaFrance-Webb.

Funeral 11am Saturday, February 13th, at Congdon Street Baptist Church, 17 Congdon Street, Providence; viewing will begin at 10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground.
