I have known your family forever and still recall the days of our youth while spending time with each of you Hollis, Mildred, Robert and Preacher. I remember playing Jacks, jumping rope, playing 1, 2,3 Redlight on Dudley St and acting like we (Hollis, Mildred and Judy Venter) were the
Supremes. I also remember listening to the latest 45 records in your mothers front room on the record player (Say it Loud I'm Black and I'm Proud etc.) Well I am saying
I am proud and glad that all of you including your Mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins were there for me and my family when we were kids. I remember asking you, Hollis and Mildred to get me one of your mother's or grandmother's slamin bisquits or a piece of that down home cake they use to bake and the steak and gravy your mother made so well (smile). Oh yeah we go way back. I will always remember the fond memories we shared. May God Bless each of you at this time during your loss.
