April Ann Monroe, 45, of Felix Street, Providence, died Monday, August 10th, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Ruth and Marjorie Robertson of Providence. Besides her mother, April is survived by four children, Deanna Monroe, Dwayne Monroe, Raymond "Chiefy" Monroe and I'Esha Robinson, all of Providence, nine brothers and sisters, maternal grandmother, Margaret Fayerweather, grandchildren, Jayon Johnson and Adrian Shepard Jr. and companion, Jairson Goncalves. She was the sister of the late Steven Monroe and Nancy Monroe. Funeral 10 am Friday, August 14th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Calling Hours 7-9pm Thursday, also in funeral home .
