Nancy C. Monroe, 50, of Spruce Street, died January 30th. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of Marjorie Robertson of Providence and the stepdaughter of the late Robert J. Robertson. Besides her mother, she leaves five brothers, Terrance Monroe of Seekonk, MA, Bruce, Jeffrey and Thayer Monroe, all of Providence, and Michael Robertson of Fall River, MA; five sisters, Linda Monroe of Norwich, CT., Robin Love of Pawtucket, April Monroe and Nina Robertson, both of Providence, Lisa Robertson of Norwich, CT, and a maternal grandmother, Margaret Fayerweather of Providence. She was the sister of the late Steven Monroe. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm at the Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 am in Praise Tabernacle Church, 251 Magnolia Street, Cranston. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston.
