Patrick T. Moore, 72, formerly of North Kingstown, went to be with his Lord and savior Monday, October 11 th , surrounded by loved ones in Providence. He was a devoted husband to the late Elizabeth A. (McLuckie) Moore. Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late James Moore and Madeline (LaVenture) Moore. He lived in Jacksonville, FL with his daughter for the past 7 years. Patrick served and honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He then went to work for Bally Corp. as district supervisor for the New England area. He later went to work at the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years until retirement due to illness. He is survived by son, James Moore of Providence, daughters, Suzanne (Joseph) Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, NancyLynne (Leon) Beattie of South Kingstown, and Lynda (Kathi) Moore of Providence, brother, John Moore of Saint Augustine, FL, sisters, Madeline Hachreal and Catherine Moore, both of San Diego, CA, and Patricia Lee of Fredericksburg, MD, and grandchildren, Joseph Robert Moore, Jarrod Randall Moore, Sarah (Shawn) Darden, Kimberly (Nicholas) DeLuca, Kellce Moore, Patrick Beattie, Cameron Beattie and Kristine Moore. He was the brother of the late Gerald Moore, James Moore, Timothy Moore, Michael Moore, Donald Moore and Agnus Moore. Viewing/Visitation will be held 1-3pm Saturday, October 16 th , in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Cremation will follow.
