Patsy N. (Scott) Morris, 57, of Briggs Street, Providence, died Sunday, February 21st, at home. She was the widow of the late Orie Morris Sr.

Born in Kingstree, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Rutledge and Bertha Lee (Scott) Hall of Suffolk, VA. She was a resident of the city for 38 years.

Besides her mother, she is survived by step-father, Vernell Hall, of Suffolk, VA, sons, Antonio Scott of Suffolk, VA, Orie Morris Jr., Shannon W. McDonald, and T. Jackson McDonald, all of Providence, daughters, Sharon Morris and Brianna McDonald, both of Providence, brother, Fred D. Hall of Suffolk, VA, sisters, Gloria Hall, Audrey Hall, Christine Hall, all of Providence, Katherine Lumpkin of Clarksville, TN, and Willie Mae Hall of Atlanta, GA and 5 grandchildren, Antoine, Alexis, Ashley, Jacquan and Orie. She was the sister of the late Vernell Hall.

Funeral 11am Monday, March 1st, in Bright Funeral Home , 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Cremation will follow.
