Born in Mira, LA, the son of James Page Sr. of Providence and the late Eliza M. (Stewart) Page. He was a resident of the city for 42 years. James had been an employee of Ideal Plating Manufacturing. And was also a member of Beacon Avenue Church of God. Besides his father, James is survived by sons, James Adams of Providence and Emanuel Contagina of FL, daughter, Eliza Contagina of FL, brothers, Oscar Page, Charles Page and Larry Page, all of Providence, and R.B. Edward of Mendon, LA, sisters, Norma J. Thomas, Mamie Page, Dorothy Page, Diane Page and Ruby Page, all of Providence, and step-brothers, Larry Smith and Anthony Brinson, both of Providence. Funeral Service 12 Noon Friday, January 2nd, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 11am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Avenue, Providence.
