MaryAnne (Applegate) Prim, 79, of 460 Charles Street, Providence, died Monday, June 9th, at Hospice Care of RI, Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Clarence & Nellie (Williams) Applegate. MaryAnne is survived by son, Rick Prim of Fredericksburg, VA, daughter, JoAnne Sowell of Providence, brother, Gideon Spence Applegate of South Newfane, VT , sister, Barbara Robinson of Lowell, MA, 5 grandchildren, 17 great, grandchildren and 2 great, great, grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Noami Washington and Mary Thompson. Funeral 11am Friday, June 13th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am.
