Asma A. (Summers) Qadir, 57 , of Coggeshall Street, Providence, died Saturday, April 3rd, at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Rashad Qadir.

Born in Greensboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Summers and Nettie Isley Warren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters, Shayester Qadir and Gemelya Barros, both of Providence, and Khadijah Abdullah of Pawtucket, brothers, Tony Chavis and Eric Summers, both of Greensboro, NC, sisters, Jean Summers, Malika Mohammod, Nancy Summers, Juanette Cooper, all of Greensboro, NC, and Hameedah Abdul-Hasib of Providence, 5 grandchildren and 3 great, grandchildren.

Janazah Prayers will be rendered 12 Noon Monday, April 5th, at Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Burial will be in Little Greenville Cemetery.
