George Clayton Ramsdell, 50, a self-employed construction worker, of 50 Carnation Street, Pawtucket, died Thursday, May 6th, at Memorial Hospital. He was the common law husband of Margaret Ashley

Born in Providence, he was the son of Benjamin Ramsdell Sr. and the late Janice (Scott) Ramsdell.

Besides his common law wife and father, he is survived by son, Timmy Gois, step sons, Keith Andrews, Joey Andrews, Shawn Andrews and Bobby Andrews, brothers, Troy Scott, Benjamin Earl William, sisters, Natalie Skinner, Georgette Scott, Kimberly Williams and Desiree Williams, grandchildren, Adrian Pina and Isaiah Gois, and step-grandchildren, Ariana, Bobby, Italia, Caitilyn, Kiara and Sophia. He was the brother of the late Benjamin Ramsdell Jr. and Darnell Scott.

Funeral 11am Friday, May 14th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
