Wilber Reese, 77, of 41 Harrison Street, Providence, died Thursday, May 22nd, in Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Atlanta, GA, a son of the late William Floyd Sr. and Georgia (Reese) Floyd. He had been a resident of the city for 57 years. Wilber is survived by nephews, William J. Floyd III and Robert Floyd, both of Atlanta, GA, and nieces, Evelyn Ojuri of Elberton, GA, Carolyn Mack and Connie Shaw, both of Atlanta, GA, and Sarah Goode of Providence. He was the brother of the late William J. "Willie" Floyd Jr. Per the familie's request, the funeral services will be private.
