Born in Fairmont, NC, a daughter of the late Matthew Richardson and Bernice (McRae) Richardson. She was a resident of the city for 40 years. Barbara is survived by brother, Matthew Richardson of Providence, and sisters, Geraldine Richardson of Orumn, NC, Shirley Richardson, Gwendolyn Mitchell, Agretta Richardson, Linda Richardson, Thomasina Richardson and Sandra Richardson, all of Providence. Funeral 11am Thursday, January 24th, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground. Click To View Condolence Messages
