Ruby Dell (Williams) Robinson, 74, a jewelry worker, of Almy Street, Providence, died Wednesday May 5th, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph James Robinson Sr.

Born in Swainsboro, GA , she was the daughter of the late Madison D. Williams and Hattie Bell (Boyd) Williams. She was a member of New Hope Church of the Living God for over 50 years where she served as church and state secretary until illness.

She is survived by sons, Joseph Robinson Jr., Michael Robinson, and Larry Robinson, all of Providence, and Leon Robinson of Woonsocket, daughters, Dianna Thompson and Leesonja Robinson, both of Providence, Felicia Moore of Wilson, NC, and Sherry Robinson of Beach Island, SC, step sons, Joey Fugere and Kevin Fugere, both of Woonsocket, step daughter, Crystal Fugere of Woonsocket, brothers, James Williams of Yeardon, PA, and Willie Edward and Joseph Williams, both of Philadelphia, PA, sister, Bretha Palmer Hicks of Louisville, GA, and 40 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Rochelle Robinson and the sister of the late Hattie Jones and Juanita Devose .

Funeral 11am Thursday, May 13th, at Mount Zion Church of God, 375 Cahill Street, Providence; Viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket.
