Elder Walter Lester Ross Jr., 60, a retired programmer, of 50 Prairie Avenue, Providence, died Sunday, November 14 th , at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Beryl L. (Moore) Ross. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter Lester Ross Sr. and Elizabeth Marie (Palmer) Ross. He was a lifelong resident of the city. Besides his wife, he is survived by brothers, Victor Allen Ross, Frank James Ross and Donald S. Ross, all of Providence, and Barry Curtis Ross of Texas, sisters, Betsy Ann Ross, Eva M. Robinson, and Sharon M. Ross, all of Providence, and 2 grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ivy L. Love Jr. and the brother of the late Jane Elizabeth Ross. Funeral 10am Saturday, November 20 th , at Holy Cross Church of God In Christ United, 1014 Broad Street, Providence, RI. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, 1569 Broad Street, Cranston, RI.
