For all those viewing messages placed into LaRessa's guest book, I wish for you to know that although I did not see LaRessa on a regular basis, I was appointed her "work buddy" while she oriented to her role with the American Cancer Society. We called one another by phone each week for several months and LaRessa would ask me questions regarding "who's who" in the catchment area she was assigned to. I would also provide her with advise on what I thought would be appropriate "to do next" to establish herself in her new job. When her cancer returned and she began treatment again, we continued to talk, a little less frequently, but we would still connect. She never, ever complained and it seemed she took each day as it came. Please know my thoughts will always include a space for LaRessa, my work buddy. Bless you all who knew her much better than me. And bless her memory every single day. She will never be forgotten.
JoAnn Wentworth (Danvers, MA )

Mother Seastrunk and Family,
You are in the prayers of the Cross family. "...I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling..." 1 Corinthians 2:3 Although Paul speaks here, it parallels many of God's promises to us in that at ALL times He walks with us and will NEVER leave us or forsake us.

"Know that the Lord is with thee always...even unto the end of the earth."
Deacon Ronald and Evangelist Gloria Lilly (Odenton, Maryland)

I thank God for they time we had with LaRessa. I think somewhere along the line, we all learned something from this remarcable young lady. Although her life was very short, I have to believe that she accomplished what she came here to do. At her young age she has left a legacy of triumph, dedication and perseverance that speaks volumes to all of us left here on earth. With all the sufferings, tears and heartbreak she endured in the last few years of her life, she truly earned all the jewels she now has on her crown of glory. I will truly miss her!!!
Maribel (Pawtucket, RI)

To the family,
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Although I never met LaRessa personally, I heard many good things of her and saw how she touched many. I did have the wonderful opportunity to meet her son and parents at Thanksgiving a few years ago. LaRessa, Rest in peace, and know that your family and your village will take care of your precious son.
Robyn Iglehart (Owings Mills, MD)

May her light continue to shine within God's Glory
