Charles A. Smith Jr., 52, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3rd, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was the husband of Paula (Curry) Smith.

Charles Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was a graduate of Central High School in Providence. He was the son of Rev. Dr. Charles A. Smith Sr. of Warwick and the late Frances Elizabeth (Lockhart) Smith.

Besides his wife and father , he leaves one daughter, 3 stepdaughters, one step son, 3 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a host of nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 11th, at 10am at The Christian Church of Compassion, 627 South Felton Street, Philadelphia, PA. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Chester, PA.
