Rosemary Smith, 56, of Randall Street, Providence, died Saturday, August 29th, at the Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the Jerry W. Smith of Providence and the late Aleen (Moore) Smith.

She was previously employed as a cook for Prairie Diner and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Besides her father, she is survived by two daughters, Katisha M Smith of North Kingstown and Rosetta L. Smith of Providence, seven brothers, Lawrence Hamrick, Joseph Hamrick, James Thrasher, Jerome Smith, and Emelio Reveira, all of Providence, and Richard Smith and Todd Smith, both of Pawtucket, seven sisters, Lori Smith, Samatha McDade, Juanita McDade and Angeline Smith, all of Providence, Tina Smith of Dallas, TX, Betty Jean Gleaves of Baltimore, MD, and Geraldine Smith of Pawtucket, and 3 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jerry Hamrick.

The funeral will be held Thursday, September 3rd, at 10:00 AM in the Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence: preceeded by viewing from 9:00 to 10:00AM. Cremation will follow.
