Mary Lou (Dawkins) Thomas, 67, of 24 Boutwell Street, Pawtucket, died Friday, March 14th, at home. She was the wife of the late Wallace Thomas.

Born in Shelby, NC, a daughter of the late Jimmy Dawkins and Margie Guest . She was a resident of the city for 51 years. She was the church mother of Shiloh Gospel Temple, Providence.

She is survived by sons, Ricky G. Dawkins and Bradley T. Dawkins, both of Pawtucket, Steven M. Dawkins of North Providence, Robert S. Dawkins of Providence, and Randall P. Dawkins of Central Falls, brothers Robert L. Ross of Providence and Dennis N. Ross of Shelby, NC, sisters, Joann Davenport, Ernestine Ross and Shirley Guest, all of Providence, and Minneola Walker of Salisbury, NC, 32 grandchildren and 19 great, grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Priscilla A. Johnson and sister of the late Ernest Ross and Barbara A. Hutley.

Funeral 12 Noon Wednesday, March 19th, at Holy Cross Church of God In Christ United, 1014 Broad Street, Providence; viewing will begin at 11am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground.
