Anthony Dontez Towns, 48, a construction worker, of Searle Street, Providence, died Tuesday, April 29 th , at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Raleigh, NC, a son of the late Edward Towns and Annette (Baker) Towns of Providence. Anthony is survived by four sons, Terry Jones, Derrick Smith, Dwayne Smith and Anthony Woodard, three brothers, Edward Towns, Michael Towns and Corey Towns, five sisters, Vida Pittman, Vanessa Towns, Donna Towns, Lillian Towns and Katrina Towns, all of Providence, and 9 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Theodore Towns, Clarissa Towns and Andrea Towns. Funeral 11am Monday, May 5th, in Refuge Deliverance Tabernacle, 349 Prairie Avenue, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston.
