Elliot Walker, 64, of Kissimmee, FL, and formerly of Providence, died Monday, July 27th, at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, FL. Born in Weston, GA, the son of the late Bishop James W. Walker and the late Georgia Lou (Threats) Walker. Elliot attended Central High School in Providence. And he worked for Whatcheer Laundry Services until he became self-employed as a singer and musician. Elliot is survived by daughters, Regina Walker of Boston, MA and Kim Johnson of New Haven, CT, brothers, David Walker of SC, James Walker of Boston, MA, and Andrew Harris of Providence, sisters, Arrine Almeida of Providence, Rosie Foley of Houston, TX, Pastor Minnie Williams of Atlanta, GA, and Pastor Louise Perry of Kissimmee, FL, and niece, Pastor Joan Perry of Kissimmee, FL. He was the brother of the late Thomas Dew, Geneva Vanover, Mary Lou Powell and Jane Tina Walker. Funeral 11 am Saturday, August 8th, at Refuge Deliverance Tabernacle, 364 Prairie Avenue, Providence.
